I am Jennifer Poss Taylor. A retired photographer, speaker, published author, blogger and now, caterer. I’ve promoted awareness in adoption and raising a family with special needs for fifteen years.
Now, I cook. A lot. And I absolutely love it. It’s therapy. FOOD Therapy. That’s right. I now provide FOOD Therapy for myself, my family, and other families who need help getting food on the table or to simply get food in their bodies. My desserts are a special kind of therapy. You simply have to try them.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Interior Design (because why not put those two degrees together?) from Texas Tech University many, many years ago. In a way, my degree helps me with what I do today.
I’m a wife and a very blessed Mommy to two wonderful children, Grant and Brooke. I’ve been fortunate enough to meet hundreds of families through adopting and raising a family with special needs. Families need support and help from one another, no matter what their situation entails. In this season of my life, providing FOOD Therapy is a perfect solution, whether the day has been sweet or sour.
I hope to write more books in the future. I’ve already started a couple. For now, I’ll blog. For now, I’ll cook. And for now…that’s plenty.
I hope to meet you one day and I hope I can fill your tummy!
I currently live in Lubbock, Texas with my husband, David, of eighteen years and two of our children, Grant and Brooke (15).
